ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 27 as of May 1, 2021

applicants must identify as female, trans, or non-binary
REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENTS

Florent Schmitt, Légende, Op. 66, unaccompanied
-
submissions MUST be unaccompanied to ensure a fair judging process for all applicants
-
-
One solo work of your choice written by a composer who identifies as female, trans, or non-binary and/or who is from a historically marginalized group of people.

Accompaniment is not required.

Choice work must be at least 3 minutes in length

Single movements are acceptable if they meet the time requirements

Use the following resources to connect with a composer's work:
VIDEO SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Each video should be submitted as a YouTube link and clearly labelled with the title of the work, the composer, and the performer name

Each recording must start at the beginning of the movement

Only single camera video should be submitted
-
Légende, Op. 66 must be submitted without accompaniment
-
Edited videos or audio will not be judged
APPLICATION AND DEADLINE

Due to barriers introduced globally by COVID-19, the submission fee for this round of competition has been waived

The deadline is now May 1, 2021 at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time
